What the certificate covers

  • One operation (brand) and the domains listed on the certificate, each verified by DNS TXT record.
  • The game verticals named in the application and approved in the audit.
  • Use of the Porto iGaming validation seal on the certified domains.
  • Entry in the public certificate register for as long as the certificate runs.

What a certificate holder commits to

  • Keep the corporate, ownership and key-person information on file current and report changes within 14 days.
  • Run AML/CFT and KYC procedures proportionate to the business, and keep records for at least five years.
  • Offer responsible gaming tools: deposit and session limits, time-out and self-exclusion; refuse players under 18.
  • Use certified random number generators and publish game rules and return-to-player figures.
  • Publish fair player terms, a privacy notice and a complaint procedure, and answer complaints we forward.
  • Serve the brand only on domains listed on the certificate; add a new domain before using it.
  • Keep the validation seal in place and unaltered on every certified domain, and never present it as a government licence.

Monitoring while certified

Every certified site is scanned on a schedule and its mirror domains are searched for. A failed scan never suspends a certificate by itself: it opens a compliance review, and the holder is told what failed and how to fix it.
