About Porto iGaming
Porto iGaming is an independent certification platform for online gaming. It audits operators and suppliers against its own compliance standards, issues certificates, keeps the public register and monitors certified sites.
What we are
Porto iGaming is an independent, private certification body. We set our own compliance standards, audit applicants against them, issue certificates and monitor certified sites for as long as the certificate runs. A Porto iGaming certificate is not a government gambling licence and does not replace one where the law of a market requires it; holders remain responsible for any licence they need.
How we work
Public by default
The register, the uncertified-sites list and the standards holders must meet are public.
Proportionate supervision
Failures lead to a review with the holder before any sanction; serious breaches lead to suspension or withdrawal of the certificate.
Clear about what we are
We are a private certifier, not a government regulator, and every certificate and register entry says so.
