Compliance audit
Corporate and personal documents, policies and game certificates are uploaded in the panel and reviewed by a compliance officer.

Domains verified
Each domain gets its own DNS TXT record. A domain without the record is never shown as certified.

Certificate issued
On approval and payment of the certification fee the certificate is entered in the register and the certificate document and validation seal are released.
Monitoring does not stop at issue
A certificate is a promise to players. These controls keep it true for every day it runs.
Continuous monitoring
Certified sites are scanned on a schedule: HTTPS, policies, responsible gaming tools, age notice, the validation seal. Repeated failures open a compliance review.
Domains by DNS only
Ownership is proven by a TXT record at _portoigaming.<domain>. No e-mail, no file, no exceptions — not even for our own staff.
Mirror detection
Numbered domain series, TLD swaps, certificate logs, redirects and site fingerprints are searched for domains serving a certified brand outside its certificate.
Signed validation seal
The seal checks a signed statement for the exact domain it is shown on. Copied to another site, it shows as not valid.

What a certificate is
Porto iGaming is an independent, private certification body. A certificate attests that the operator passed our compliance audit and is monitored against our standards. It is not a government gambling licence and does not replace one where the law requires it.
